During a visit to Manchester to do some urban photography, I stumbled across an impassioned demonstration by Manchester's muslim community speaking out opposed to the actions of the Israeli armed forces against the Palestinians of Israel's Gaza Strip.

The conflict has been seen by many internationally as a one-sided battle by the Israeli military fuelled by malice and a sense of imperialistic entitlement, while others saw the actions of Israel's military as justified self defence.  Although a particular highlight had been put on the subject when this protest took place, this is still a complex and ongoing issue.
